I have a wordpress blog and I would like to check that it has been set up for SEO as well as possible. How should I check that it is SEO’d as well as possible? Is there some software that can check that it is OK? Is there anything else that I can do? Many thanks for your help!

2you can only manually check your search ranking by searching keywords on the search engine..
However, you need two plugins to boost your seo of wordpress blog.

You can do this manually,
Google likes updated content,so you can easily do that in your blogs.
Title,description,tags,anchor text,images etc also play an important role in getting your site/blog indexed.
All you need is to hire an SEO expert who can help you optimize these things in much effective and yet affordable manner.

As blogging does not require any fancy Graphics or HTML, search engines love it. Many search engines frown upon unnecessary graphics, they tend to index txt more.
Many search engines rank a site based upon the amount of links that go to it, if your content interesting and use full more people read it making you more popular. linking to other sites and including good keywords while writing the blog can increase views.
Blogging helps promote website by virtue of the number of links you as a blogger put in your website.
These links “Viral Effect” can cause a domino effect because it will refer to another website and to anouther etc etc. this can do wonders for search engine rankings
This “Viral” effect, multiplies in a host organism. When a blog links to websites in a similar theme, webmasters may reciprocate by linking back. This increases the affinity of search engine robots, which may give a higher ranking to the website.

5i dont know any software that checks if blogs are optimized for search engines but i do know a technique you can use to get you blog ranked number one on the google search eninge in only 24 hours for free!

use the technique they teach you, then after 24 hours, instead of using any software check google and your blog should be ranked number one
